Minnesota & Federal Appeals

Helping You Pursue a Civil Appeal

When the time comes to appeal an adverse trial court decision, you need an attorney who is experienced with the unique skills and competencies that are required at the appellate level.

I'm Minneapolis attorney Lee Watson, and I have decades of experience helping clients and other attorneys appeal a wide range of legal matters. Contact me to learn how I can help you effectively pursue your appellate goals.

Serving as an Appellate Resource for Attorneys and Their Clients

It is not uncommon for trial courts to make errors that can only be corrected through appeals. I have frequently been called upon by other lawyers to serve as assisting appellate counsel in cases involving a cross-section of legal practice areas, ranging from contract law to divorce law.

Over my decades of practice, I have finely honed my writing and oral argument skills with regard to appellate briefs and other elements of appellate practice.

I work closely with original trial counsel to document possible sources of erroneous application of law and fight for those mistakes to be corrected. I pay close attention to the decisions of the appellate courts to keep track of current trends and currently serve as a frequent appellate resource for several other Minnesota attorneys.

Handling Cases With Experience and Effectiveness

I am experienced at pursuing appeals of trial court decisions in both state and federal appeals courts. I represent local clients as well as clients located outside of Minnesota who need local assistance with legal matters.

With an approach to litigation that is focused on efficient and effective research and documentation, I am in a strong position to make written and oral arguments on appeal.

If you are looking for experienced appeals counsel to assist you with any civil litigation matter, don't hesitate to contact me to learn more about my legal services.
